The Ice Festival is one of several street festivals in Downtown Plymouth that take place throughout the year (usually).  The area is very walkable with plenty of parks, shops, restaurants, and entertainment – along with plenty of parking. Plymouth also has beautiful residential tree-lined streets with lots of gorgeous historic homes making it one of the area’s prettiest and most walkable small towns.

2021 Northville Heritage (Victorian) Festival and Parade this Weekend September 17-19th – Parade Starts at 6:30pm Friday!

It’s Fall which means it’s festival time again – this weekend Downtown Northville is up with the Northville Heritage Festival celebrating the rich history and small town charm of historic Northville. The Parade kicks off at 6:30pm on Friday and it’s the highlight of the Festival and well worth seeing (unless you are in it yourself!).   Activities and events for all ages will be taking place across Northville until Sunday afternoon

Northville Arts & Acts Festival This Weekend: June 16th to 18th, 2017

The Northville Art House shines a spotlight on the imagination, art, talent and cultural diversity of artists throughout the region when the annual Arts and Acts Festival returns for the sixth consecutive year June 16-18 in historic downtown Northville. The Festival includes the 29th annual juried fine art show Art in the Sun, featuring over 70 talented artists;  the Sandbox Play Festival produced by Tipping Point Theatre; the Short on Words Literary Contest; musical entertainment featuring some of metro Detroit’s top musicians; Children’s Activities; the Northville Art House Chalk Festival; our new Young Artist Juried Art Fair; and a large variety of festival food and drink.

Let your Creativity shine this first weekend of Summer in Downtown Northville! Come and enjoy the imagination that abounds in our charming downtown as The Northville Art House hosts its annual Arts & Acts Festival; featuring art, music, film, plays, food and activities for all ages.

Stroll down Main & Center streets; delight in the juried fine art show, Art in the Sun, featuring over 70 talented artists and the Reel Michigan Film Festival at Northville’s historic Marquis Theatre. Be amazed at the Short on Words Literary Contest and come watch the Children share their artistic aspirations at the Northville Art House Chalk Festival! Appreciate the musical entertainment and festively delicious food and drink! This weekend’s artistic adventure benefits The Northville Art House and is one of the biggest and definitely one of the most diverse summer festivals in the metro area.

The fun begins on Friday, June 19 @ 3 pm to 8 pm and continues Saturday, June 20, 10 am to 8pm and concludes Sunday, June 21, 10 am to 5pm.

One of the areas last outdoor festivals of the summer – the Northville Food Truck Festival puts together mobile food, a car show, beer garden, live music and even an outdoor food themed movie for the whole family.  Go to Ford Field in downtown Northville Saturday, August 23rd for this unique event.

The 2013 edition of Art in the Park is coming this weekend to downtown Plymouth. Since the Green Street Fair didn’t happen this year, Art in the Park is the first big downtown event of the year.  As usual, there will be plenty to see, do, and buy as long as the weather co-operates.  We’ve gotten our fair share of rain already this summer so the forecast is looking very positive. One of the great things about Plymouth is how walkable the City is – not just the downtown.  We see many visitors park in the neighborhoods and walk downtown to the fair.
