Carrie Bake was born and raised in Plymouth, Michigan and is the daughter of Bob Bake, a long time Plymouth and Northville Real Estate Broker. She holds a Bachelor of Economics and French from Sweet Briar College in Virginia, a Master in Management from L’Ecole Supérieure de Commerce (ESC- Nice) in France, and an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business (2000) specializing in Marketing and Strategy. Having lived 3 years in France and 3 years in Japan, Carrie is fluent in French and speaks conversational Japanese. Raised in Toronto, Canada, Patrick has been part of the Plymouth and Northville community since 1998 when he and Carrie got married and bought their first house in downtown Plymouth. The quaint little cottage had more character than a house so small should – with arched doorways and pass throughs, heavy stucco interior walls, cove ceilings, and hardwood floors. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University (GMI), a Master of Arts degree from the Royal College of Art in London, England, and an MBA from the Ross School of Business – University of Michigan. He is both a left and right brain thinker, which serves him well in the field of real estate. Patrick has been a full-time REALTOR Since 2009 and an Associate Broker since 2014 and specializes in single family homes and condos in the Plymouth and Northville area.
Bob Bake, BROKER EMeRiTUS
Robert (Bob) Bake was born and raised in the Northville and Plymouth area. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Michigan, Dearborn. In 1967, he established Robert Bake Realtors, Inc. in downtown Plymouth, which dominated the Plymouth/Northville real estate market between 1970 and 1996.
In 1996, Robert Bake Realtors merged with Coldwell-Banker Schweitzer to create Coldwell Banker Schweitzer-Bake, located at 177 N. Main Street in downtown Plymouth. In 2009, Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel acquired Schweitzer-Bake and currently operates at the same Main Street office. Bob has probably been into more existing homes in Plymouth and Northville than any other living Realtor! Bob has also been a longtime community activist in Plymouth, and has been involved in helping beautify and maintain the historic charm of Downtown Plymouth.
