Happy Haunting!

The Plymouth entertainment district continues to grow with a diverse range of restaurants including the Cellar 849 Wine Bar. We stopped by Cellar 849 tonight (849 Penniman in downtown Plymouth or “dtP”) for a one of their wonderful thin crust pizzas – there’s nothing like fresh from a wood-fired oven! Cellar 849 has a comfortable, upscale wine bar atmosphere inside where you can sample/buy/drink wine and enjoy some gourmet pizza. Step inside and the interior is warm and inviting with lots of natural materials and warm wood tones. Find out more at
Update July 10th, 2010: This year’s event seems bigger and better than ever with perfect summer weather too! The booths seems to be taking over more and more of downtown and combined with the new stores – there’s plenty to see.
Update July 10th, 2010: At Art in the Park this year, we stopped by the Old World Olive Press and the place was crowded with Olive Oil tasters – so much so that we decided to come back at a later date. The place looked great and the people were sure enjoying themselves!
Located at 550 Forest, the new Eclectic Attic vintage and antique consignment shop provide a fashionable shopping alternative in downtown Plymouth. After months of renovations, the shop is nearly ready to go!
Update April 10th, 2010: We took the family there last weekend and although the place was a little under-staffed, the food did deliver on the promise of the exotic. As a new restaruant, we like to reserve judgement until things settle down.
