Wicked Halloween Run – 10K, 5K, Monster Mile: Sunday October 30, 2011 in Plymouth Michigan

As we get closer to Halloween, more and more pumpkins along with other seasonal decorations are appearing on front porches and lawns all over town. This year, you might even win an award! The Wicked Halloween Run comes to Plymouth with a Home Decoration Contest. Homes in Plymouth located on the 10K or 5K race course routes are eligible for Halloween Decoration Contest with winners receiving a Recognition Award Sign and/or Gift Card. The Plymouth Preservation Network Presents “Ghosts of Plymouth”

The PPN is hosting 2 fundraisers.  The first, “Ghosts of Plymouth”, a night of good food and spooky stories about the historic places of Plymouth. Tickets are $28 per person and include dinner, one drink and the 30 minute presentation.

The second fundraising event will be a luncheon held the following Tuesday, October 26th at noon. This will be a book signing with local author and psychic medium Kristy Robinett. Lunch tickets will be $15 per person and will include lunch and one, non-alcoholic beverage. Kristy will also be selling and signing copies of her book, “Ghosts of Southeast Michigan.”

Tickets can be purchased at Nico & Vali. There are only 55 seats available for each event, so get your tickets early!

Plymouth’s Old Village Halloween Haunted Block Party October 25th, 2009

Some of you have wondering about the Old Village part of Plymouth. Well this weekend would be a great time to explore this historic part of town. Great Pumpkin Caper in Plymouth October 30th, 2009

DSC_5991The Great Pumpkin Caper in downtown Plymouth is October 30th, 2009. There will be Trick-or-Treating at downtown businesses and a costume contest in Kellogg Park. Something of a nice surprise this morning downtown near the Farmer’s Market, the Wilcox House has begun the Autumn Gathering at the Wilcox. On the grounds of this historic Plymouth landmark, you can buy cider, donuts, apples, and other fall treats – along with plenty of pumpkins, hay bales, etc. It’s a great display of local and seasonal items – all in the shadow of a grand old home.
