Just sold to one of our clients relocating to Michigan from out-of-state for work, this 1728 sqft home is located in the City of Plymouth’s New England Village neighborhood. This area of the city offers newer (1970s) homes with amenities such as attached garages, hardwood floors, open kitchens, and more. The streets are filled with mature trees and the you can still walk to downtown events, shopping and restaurants.
The local real estate market continues to be very strong with good homes selling quickly and at higher prices. We aren’t seeing a return yet to the pre-recession highs, but prices are very good, inventory low, and competition is fierce among buyers. With 2013 starting off with little to no seasonal drop off in activity – combined with a growing local economy with more and more hiring, we expect continued strength in the local real estate market. While people were relocating away from Michigan 2 and 3 years ago, we are now seeing more and more people relocating to Michigan which is a very positive indicator!
